Today we are announcing the formation of a new implementation working group to focus on OpenEXR compression best practices development for ACES productions. This group’s focus is to sort out best practices for the use of compression during production and post-production, including VFX.
This group’s first meeting with be Thursday 12/16/2021 at 2:30PM PST with additional meetings after the holidays.
This new group, as with all the recent groups will be conducted virtually using GoToMeeting for meetings, ACESCentral for discussions between meetings and the ACES Workspaces for exchanging documents, code, etc.
