Recap:

  • Talked about the details of the OCIO PR for a bit
    • AP0 in and out as the BuiltIn Transform, to match the CTL and follow ACES LMT structure
    • Fixed Function is a bit different
    • It is merged - please build from master and test if you are able
  • Resolve: hoping to get the basic implementation into 17.3, without AMF which will be later. It will have the project setting as well as the clip level!!
  • Confirm you can select multiple clips and turn on/off the same as other operations
  • @nick : does the GC get switched off with the flat pass option for VFX pulls?
  • @michaelch - yes, haven’t tested myself but that is the assumption/plan.
  • @carolalynn : as far as testing, what would be helpful? If we provided test images with and without compression - anything else needed?
  • @jzp : CLF has a synthetic image for testing of that package. Would be interesting to have an overall ACES image test package to use across projects.
  • @nick will test that image through the different GC implementations (DCTL, Nuke, CTL, Baselight) and see what we get. Will also test the inverse.
  • Thresholds are relative based on the value as it’s float - ± 1 part of 500
  • @alexfry: it does contain NaNs and infs, if that is useful to have as well
  • Will the parameterized version get an inversion implementation? Yes, it will be one of the parameters, and we’ll need to think about the limits/thresholds with this in mind.
  • We will follow up with the CLF group and ACES leadership around a path forward for an ACES Image test package
