Thanks Nick !

I have put together a Nuke script with the Nuke’s implementation of three “prototypes” :

  • ACES 1.2 Output Transform
  • OpenDRT - v0.0.81b1
  • DIY PerChannel DRT v2

I have also added two “tone scales” prototypes :

  • Tonemap ToeLast v1.1
  • Tonemap PiecewiseHyperbolic v3

All these prototypes come from the same person, Jed Smith.

This is what the script looks like (with backdrop nodes for each prototype) :

It will work in non-commercial Nuke, except for the blink node used in the little setup that lets you position the coordinate of the three primaries positions in the DIY PerChannel DRT v2.

output_transform_prototypes_v001.nk (261.1 KB)

I guess the next step, as it has been discussed in the meeting, would be to split the ODT (matrix + inverted eotf) to easily swap/compare the RRTs. Did I understand this correctly ?
