Hey everyone,

Just a quick word about the meetings’ length. I sometimes feel that they are too short. Like tonight we could have been going for another 30 minutes maybe ?

I know we’re all busy but I feel that our most productive meetings have been the longest ones… It does take a bit of time to warm up…

Just a thought,
Chris

The Dolby paper Scott referred to I believe is this one:

Camera Color Correction Using Two-Dimensional Transforms

Thanks. I’ll add that link. Oddly, several links I put in the notes got lost when I pasted them into DropBox Paper.

I updated the miro board shown in the meeting with a flowchart of similar style for OpenDRT. It only includes the “rendering code” portion for the moment, and does not describe the “parameter interface” portion.

Thanks @jedsmith. That’s really helpful.

Might it be better for clarity if when the RGB channels contain LMS data, you change the variable name to lms? Also there is one box just labelled “LMS”. Since those boxes represent processes, not image states, I think that should be labelled as what is happening there. If I understand correctly, that is where RGB (LMS?) is multiplied by the tonemapped norm. What is a good, concise but clear name for that?
