The recording and notes from meeting #70 are now available.

The highlights look off with the CAM DRT v16 because the default highlight desat setting is almost turned off. To get equivalent match to ZCAM DRT highlight desat it would have to be set to around 1.3, and it’s set to 0.3 by default.

Yes. That’s what I noticed during the meeting. Thank’s for the suggested value of 1.3.

I saw the material presented in the meeting. A great test, and nice to see that there’s solid visual memory, measurements and equipment list of the scenes IRL.

Question about the saturated highlights. Back when I tried the 3 published candidates for feedback I felt the same about candidate C. Was this also the same highlight desat 0.3 as the LUTs from Francesco’s tests?

And shouldn’t it ultimately become a value that matches the scene as perceived by eye instead of a match to another DRT? Could there be a reason to want a higher value than that, or less?

Notes now available.
