There was a discussion on the call about the potential value of adding a group node to the specification.
Initially this was suggested to be added as an added level in the XML structure, to allow for convenience and organizing a list of process nodes that represent a single transform.
This is really a convenience thing, and it was suggested by those who are experience with XML implementation that adding an extra level of nesting to the XML structure complicates parsing unnecessarily. I believe there was a suggestion that perhaps a similar effect might me attainable using the name attribute in multiple process nodes to indicate their part of a single transform.
We deferred the resolution of the debate to a thread here, so… anybody want to chime in?
