General Project Updates
- Repository Management
- The
aces_containerrepository has been archived. - The
idt-calculatorwill be moved to the ACES ASWF organization with some changes:- The beta web version will be taken down for now.
- Documentation will be updated to support local builds and PyPI usage.
- Known issues will be clearly documented.

- Project Roadmap
- A GitHub-based roadmap has been started using umbrella issues to track high level project priorities.
- Work is ongoing to gain permissions to make this publicly visible.
- Repository Automation
- New proposed GitHub Actions will improve synchronization between repositories and reduce manual maintenance.
- Additional automation (e.g., changelogs and metadata updates) is planned.
- Release Planning
- Open questions remain around:
- What constitutes an “official” release vs. the full set of transforms
- How release contents are communicated
- Release cadence

AMF / Python Libraries Initiative
- Progress continues on new Python tools to support transform management and AMF workflows.
- Early discussions around improving alignment of ACES release contents with OCIO configs are underway.
“Technical” LMT Initiative
- Ongoing exploration of tone and color adjustments made in the LMT block with ACES 2.0.
- Specific use case - primarily targeted for applications where a contrast more akin to ACES 1 is desirable, while still preserving the other benefits of ACES 2. Not intended to reproduce ACES 1 exactly.
- An OCIO config with LMT options may be shared for testing soon.
