To the ACES Community,

A couple of weeks ago we asked you to share your thoughts on the ACES 1.0 ODTs and your HDR deliverables by participating in a short survey. We’d like to thank those who completed the survey. Unfortunately the number of responses was a bit too small to draw any real conclusions or detect any trends, so we are reopening the survey for a couple of more weeks. We are currently in the process of drafting a roadmap for future versions of ACES and this survey is an important channel for you to express your views about how to make ACES better serve your needs. We are also happy to hear any thoughts you have via direct posts here on ACEScentral or via email at aces@oscars.org.

If you are in any way involved in HDR work or use ACES ODTs and haven’t already completed the survey, please do so by Monday July 17. The survey has a maximum of 28 questions (depending on your answers you may see fewer question) and should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete (almost all questions are multiple choice).

@Alexander_Forsythe: We discussed about it a while back but would it be possible to get a Video Games entry in the What type of HDR projects are you mastering? section please.

This was an oversight on my part. Unfortunately, the software won’t let me change the survey while it’s open, but if anyone is using the ACES output transforms for gaming, we’d love to know. Please add it in the “Other (please specify)” box.
